Jooce Shortlisted for Prestigious Inspiring Women in Construction & Engineering Award

Jooce Marketing & PR is delighted to announce that the company has been shortlisted in the Contribution to Gender Diversity category at the Inspiring Women in Construction & Engineering Awards 2026.

Organised by Construction News, New Civil Engineer and Ground Engineering, the Inspiring Women in Construction & Engineering Awards recognise individuals, teams, companies and initiatives that have helped make the construction and engineering industries better places to work. The awards provide a unique opportunity for women across the civil engineering, geotechnical engineering and construction sectors to gain national recognition, with achievements celebrated across all three leading industry publications.

The shortlist recognises Jooce’s ongoing commitment to championing women within the industries it serves. For almost two decades, the company has worked across construction, geotechnical engineering, ground engineering and infrastructure, promoting the achievements of women, supporting industry initiatives and helping to raise the profile of female role models throughout the sector.

Jooce Managing Director, Debbie Darling, will now progress to the next stage of the awards process, where she will present directly to the judging panel and share the initiatives, collaborations and industry activities that have contributed to the nomination.

Commenting on the shortlist announcement, Debbie said:

“I am absolutely delighted and incredibly proud that Jooce has been shortlisted for this award. Championing diversity, inclusion and opportunities for women in construction and engineering has always been something I care deeply about. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work alongside and learn from many talented and inspiring women, while also supporting others entering and progressing within our industry.

To be recognised by the judges and shortlisted alongside so many outstanding organisations and individuals is a real honour. I am now looking forward to presenting to the judging panel and sharing more about the work that has contributed to this nomination.”

The Inspiring Women in Construction & Engineering Awards shine a spotlight on the people and organisations helping to create a more inclusive industry and encouraging the next generation of women to pursue careers in construction and engineering.

Jooce would like to congratulate all of the finalists and looks forward to celebrating the achievements of women from across the industry at the awards ceremony later this year.
